Job summary

TELUS Digital in Metro Manila is seeking a DevOps/Systems Engineer to drive design, integration, and automation across internal systems. You will own scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and ITIL-aligned processes while collaborating with BSA, QA, and development teams.

The role emphasizes SaaS platform expertise, system integrations, and analytical problem solving. Strong English communication is required, with 3–5 years of relevant experience and a related bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related careers
• B2+ oral and written English
• Certifications according to the SaaS platform (Certified Application Developer-SNOW, Salesforce Developer…)

Responsibilities

• Assess the requirements prepared by the Business System Analyst (BSA).
• Build the technical design, enhance existing applications and ensure proper integration with all internal systems.
• Support the creation, execution and fixes of the quality/ stress testing.
• Deploy changes to testing and production environments.
• Develop custom scripting, including schedules and batches.
• Manage command-line interface (CLI) to automate processes through scripting.
• Create and share the technical documentation to support the solution (Application & Development, user manual, testing manual).
• Perform maintenance scheduling; propose strategic solutions on defects.
• Contribute subject matter expertise to technical decision making or new system adoption.
• Advanced knowledge of SaaS platforms.
• Advanced application of ITIL framework.
• Knowledge of online analytical processing (OLAP).
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of system integrations.
• Advanced knowledge of Devops methodology (CI/CD, pipelines, version control).
• Analytical thinking and ability to solve technical problems.
