About the role

As a Collections Specialist, you will play a vital role in our collections department, managing overdue accounts and working with customers to resolve outstanding debts. Key responsibilities

• Contact customers with overdue accounts via phone, email and other communication channels to arrange payment
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities and customer interactions in the system
• Negotiate payment plans with customers to resolve outstanding balances
• Identify and elevate accounts requiring special handling or legal action
• Achieve and maintain collection targets and performance metrics set by management
• Handle difficult and sensitive conversations professionally whilst maintaining customer rapport
• Process payments and update account statuses accurately and efficiently
• Comply with all relevant debt collection regulations and company policies
• Provide regular reports on collection activities and account status to supervisors
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer issues
