Job summary

Shangri-La The Fort, Manila is seeking a Wine & Beverage Service professional to join its restaurant team. You will recommend and serve wines and beverages, and assist in arranging wine dinner events with contract prep, sales proposals and menu pairings.

The role requires fluent English, strong organizational skills, and a customer‑centric, team‑oriented mindset; a minimum of two years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferably college graduate with a Hospitality degree.
• Preferably with minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Preferably fluent in oral and written English.
• Preferably has good organizational and coordination skills.
• Preferably well versed in computer applications and the internet.
• Preferably outgoing and people oriented.
• Motivator, self-starter and a team-builder.
• Displays initiative and commitment to professional values.

Responsibilities

• Recommend, take orders and serve wines and other beverages.
• Recommend food and beverage pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Assist in arranging wine dinner events including contract preparation, wine sales proposal and menu wine pairing.
• Shall be managing and updating wine lists, maintaining accurate wine sales records and control stock levels for the restaurant.
• Provide high standards and professional services in meeting guests expectations.
