Job summary

AboitizPower in the Philippines seeks a Plant Engineer – Wind to oversee wind turbine generators and balance-of-plant systems, ensuring safe, reliable operations and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with technicians, contractors and OEMs, perform root cause analysis, support predictive maintenance, and contribute to improving wind farm performance while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in power/wind plants or related.
• Licensed engineer preferred.
• Experience with SCADA, HV/MV substations, protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators and Balance of Plant systems.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Review and approve maintenance plans, checklists, and service procedures.
• Support condition monitoring and predictive maintenance actions.
