Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Plant Technician for Wind in Libmanan, Philippines to support safe, reliable operation of wind turbines and BOP systems. The role covers preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Practitioner preferred but not mandatory.
• 1-3 years of experience in Power Plant.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical background may be considered.
• Familiarity with high-voltage systems, SCADA, PLCs, and industrial maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines, substations, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems per OEM and company standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting WTG faults and accompany OEM contractors.
• Assist in blade inspections, oil changes, borescope checks, and component replacements.
• Accompany contractors during troubleshooting, major works, and specialized interventions.
