Job summary

First Gen Corporation in the Philippines seeks an experienced O&M Asset Manager to oversee third-party wind energy contractors, ensuring SLA compliance and safe operations. You will audit SCADA data, optimize asset performance, and enforce DOLE, DOE, and DENR standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in utility-scale wind O&M, strong cost control, and a background in high-voltage systems. This is a fully on-site role supporting grid-scale assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering; Professional Engineering license, PMP, IAM, or GWO certifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in O&M or asset management for utility-scale wind energy projects.
• Proven background managing complex O&M/OEM contracts (e.g., Full Scope Availability Agreements/LTSAs), technical cost control, budgeting, and contractor dispute resolution.
• Strong technical expertise in wind turbine technology, high-voltage substations, protection systems, power transmission lines, technical drawing reviews, and civil cost estimation.
• BOSH/COSH certified with deep working knowledge of high-voltage safety practices as well as DOLE, DOE, and DENR regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration & Performance Management: oversee third-party O&M contractors to ensure SLA compliance and 97% availability targets, insurance, and statutory requirements.
• Financial Oversight & Cost Control: review OEM repair scopes, major component replacements, variation orders, and monthly invoices to protect asset ROI.
• Technical Operations & Monitoring: audit real-time SCADA and CMS data to track asset health, resolve root causes of unplanned downtime, and direct emergency response actions.
• Safety, Regulatory & Grid Compliance: enforce HSE standards, DOLE regulations (including DO 174), Grid Code requirements, and ROW clearance.
• Asset Optimization & Reporting: maintain Asset Management Plans, analyze lost energy trends, manage spare parts inventory, and evaluate retrofits to maximize generation yield.
