Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Plant Engineer - Wind in Libmanan, Camarines Sur to oversee the technical operations, maintenance, and reliability of wind turbine generators and balance-of-plant systems.

You will coordinate with technicians, contractors, and OEMs, perform RCA on faults, ensure IEC 61400 and local codes, support SCADA analysis, and contribute to safe, cost-effective, and compliant wind farm performance. This entry-level role offers growth in a purpose-driven energy company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3-5 years of power plant experience, preferably wind power.
• Licensed engineer is required.
• Wind turbine systems training (OEM certs) preferred.
• Experience leading troubleshooting with OEMs or contractors.
• Familiarity with SCADA, HV/MV substations, protection systems, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of wind turbine generators and related systems.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Review and approve maintenance plans, checklists, and procedures.
• Support condition monitoring and recommend predictive maintenance actions.
