Job summary

Vena Energy Services (Australia) Pty Ltd in Laguna seeks a QA/QC Engineer to oversee electrical, instrumentation, control, substation, transmission line, and grid connection works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and international and local standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing inspection/test plans, contractor performance, project documentation, and electrical test packages; maintaining NCRs; supporting handover and commissioning; and leading

Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of relevant construction engineering experience in power production plants.
Ideally experience from wind power plants.
Good knowledge about Philippine Grid Code, PEC and international electrical standards.
Experience working with Utilities and Transmission companies.
Comprehensive contract and QA management experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee and inspect electrical, instrumentation, control, substation, transmission line, and grid connection works to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Review inspection and test plans, contractor performance, project documentation, and electrical test packages for QA/QC.
Maintain NCR register, track nonconformities, and lead corrective actions.
Support handover planning and documentation, including as-built/IFC deliverables.
Engage with contractors and authorities to ensure timely, safe, and compliant execution.
Demonstrate safety leadership and ensure adherence to Basis for Design in all activities.
