Job summary

Quimicos Chemical Solutions Inc. Laguna-Calamba seeks an Industrial Plant Operator to support wastewater treatment processes at the facility.

You will monitor equipment, perform 5S, inspect lines, collect readings, and ensure safety standards are met while maintaining compliance with wastewater regulations. Responsibilities include on‑call emergency response, routine checks, data recording, and collaborating with supervisors to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• Must follow 5S at the workplace.
• Must monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges.
• Must record meter readings and operational data.
• Must ensure safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment on a regular basis.
• Operate equipment to purify and clarify water or to process or dispose of sewage.
• Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work areas.
• Notify supervisors immediately about any major or minor problem and incident.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the assigned industrial facility and its processes.
• Work involves responsibility for the technical aspects of plant operations.
• Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with the wastewater treatment process.
• Inspect sewer lines and services.
• On call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns at the plant and pump stations.
• Perform daily checks of the industrial facility process and periodic checks of pump stations.
• Have a working knowledge of the operation, methods and procedures of assigned industrial facilities and systems of the client.
• Adhere to company operating policies and procedures including schedules and Critical Operation Days.
