Job summary

Verspil Agua Chemicals Trading is seeking a dedicated Technician based in Calamba City, Laguna, to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot wastewater treatment facilities. The role focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality output across our chemical processing operations.

You will monitor WWTP processes, conduct sampling, manage chemical dosing, and maintain detailed logs while adhering to environmental and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in WWTP operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and chemical handling.
• Familiar with DENR and environmental compliance requirements.
• Safety Officer qualification/certification is an advantage.
• Physically fit and willing to work at different project locations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain the WWTP and its equipment.
• Conduct regular inspection and monitoring of wastewater treatment processes.
• Perform water sampling and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Monitor chemical usage and ensure proper chemical dosing.
• Maintain accurate daily operational logs, reports, and records.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and report equipment issues or abnormalities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Assist in preparing reports and documents required by government agencies and clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the treatment facility.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by management.
