Job summary

Verdetech Environmental Services Inc. is seeking a Licensed Chemical Technician or Chemical Engineer for water and wastewater analysis in a laboratory/industrial setting.

You will conduct chemical and physical tests, analyze water quality, prepare accurate reports, calibrate equipment, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and a license are required; experience in water and wastewater analysis is preferred;

Job Description

Job Title: Chemical Engineer (Water & Wastewater Analyst)

We are looking for a Licensed Chemical Technician or Chemical Engineer with experience in water and wastewater analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing, analyzing water quality, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

The role involves performing chemical and physical testing of water samples, preparing accurate laboratory reports, and maintaining proper documentation of results. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring water quality parameters, ensuring that all procedures follow regulatory requirements, and supporting the proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.

The position also requires maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, assisting in troubleshooting water treatment processes, and supporting improvements in laboratory and operational procedures. Attention to detail, accuracy in testing, and strong analytical skills are essential for this role.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field and must be a Licensed Chemical Technician. Experience in water and wastewater analysis is required. Familiarity with laboratory procedures, chemical testing methods, and environmental compliance standards is an advantage.
