Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate, monitor, and adjust pumps, valves, gates, and chemical feed systems to treat wastewater flow.


• Add chemicals and manage biological treatment processes


• Collect and analyze wastewater samples (pH, temperature, chlorine, ammonia, nitrate, phosphate solids) to determine efficiency and meet the regulatory requirements of Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA)


• Perform preventative maintenance, lubricate machinery, and clean equipment, pipes and tanks. Conduct housekeeping of the waste treatment plant.


• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and data records for regulatory compliance.


• Perform duties may be assigned by the manager and/or supervisor.


• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

KEY SKILLS

• Understand the wastewater treatment system (mechanical, chemical) and environmental regulations


• Should be proficient in using various testing methods and monitoring equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: 6 months – 1 year experience in wastewater treatment operation
