About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join DHL Supply Chain Phils., Inc. at our facility in Santa Rosa, Laguna. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing warehouse team whilst ensuring operational excellence and safety compliance. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in optimizing warehouse operations, maintaining productivity targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the team. Your leadership will directly impact the efficiency and success of our supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
2. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring clear communication of objectives and performance expectations
3. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including conducting safety briefings and incident reporting
4. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts
5. Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
6. Train and develop team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for skill enhancement
7. Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including documentation of shipments, receipts, and quality issues
8. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
9. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, accuracy, and safety metrics, reporting progress to senior management
10. Identify and resolve operational challenges, implementing corrective actions as needed
11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer requirements

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role
2. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
3. Proven expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency with inventory management software
4. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
5. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and priorities effectively
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all warehouse operations
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
8. Problem-solving ability with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency
9. Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
10. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
