About the role
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor - Packaging Materials who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the packaging materials warehouse. The role ensures the proper receiving, storage, inventory control, and timely issuance of packaging materials such as boxes, labels, and protective supplies to support uninterrupted production operations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the daily receiving, storage, inventory, and issuance of packaging materials.
- Ensure the timely and accurate issuance of boxes, labels, packaging supplies, and other materials based on production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of packaging materials to prevent production delays and stockouts.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Monitor proper storage, handling, labeling, and organization of packaging materials in accordance with warehouse standards.
- Inspect incoming packaging materials for quantity, condition, and compliance with specifications and coordinate discrepancies with the concerned departments or suppliers.
- Maintain accurate and updated inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP, or other inventory management systems.
- Lead and supervise warehouse personnel, assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure proper work distribution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, safety standards, and proper material handling practices.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Planning, and other concerned departments regarding packaging material requirements.
About you
- Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling packaging materials, raw materials, or manufacturing supplies is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in inventory control, receiving, issuance, stock monitoring, and warehouse operations.
- Experience using WMS, SAP, ERP, or other inventory management systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to inventory accuracy and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
