Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Operations Leader to oversee day-to-day activities in our tire distribution facility. You will manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires at least 5 years in warehouse/logistics with supervisory experience, strong inventory control knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or inventory operations, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
• Experience in shipment, delivery, and order monitoring.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and preferably experienced with warehouse/inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and people-management skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work on-site and conduct regular warehouse inspections.
• Experience in tire, automotive, parts distribution, retail, or similar industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, storage, handling, picking, and dispatching of tires and products.
• Maintain warehouse organization, proper stacking, labeling, and product identification.
• Monitor warehouse cleanliness, safety, security, and housekeeping.
• Monitor daily inventory movement and ensure accurate recording of receipts, transfers, returns, and releases.
• Conduct and supervise regular physical inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, and variances.
• Monitor all warehouse-related orders and ensure items, quantities, specifications, and delivery requirements are properly confirmed before release.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and coordinate with third-party logistics providers and delivery personnel.
• Plan and coordinate daily delivery and dispatch schedules.
• Supervise warehouse staff, inventory personnel, dispatchers, drivers, and logistics personnel.

About the role
