About the role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Waiter to join the team at ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE. This is a full-time position based in Imus City, Cavite. As a Waiter, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for outstanding hospitality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them at appropriate tables in a timely manner

• Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and beverage offerings, including daily specials and recommendations

• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff

• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring all items meet quality standards before presentation

• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests

• Clear tables efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the dining area

• Process payments and handle transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems

• Maintain knowledge of allergen information and dietary requirements to assist guests with their selections

• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar and housekeeping staff to deliver seamless service

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Waiter in a fast-paced hospitality environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and provide personalized service

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively during busy service periods

• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including proper serving techniques and etiquette

• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

• A positive attitude, reliability and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

• Preferably, certification in Food Safety or Hospitality Service would be advantageous
