Job summary

Cognizant seeks a seasoned Graphic Designer to create high-quality visual content for interactive learning modules, videos, and digital simulations. You will develop brand-consistent visuals, maintain accessibility standards, and partner with instructional designers and SMEs to translate concepts into compelling visuals.

You will storyboard, prototype, and manage a growing library of digital assets including AI-generated content, ensuring efficient reuse and version control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media, or related field.
• 5+ years in professional graphic design with learning/education portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with AI design tools and learning materials.
• Strong visual communication, typography, color theory, layout.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work night shift and onsite in Taguig ASAP.

• Visual Content Creation: Design and produce a wide array of high-quality visual assets for interactive e-learning modules, virtual labs, educational videos, animated explainers, infographics, presentations, and digital simulations.
• Develop Adaptable Branding & Visual Assets: Create team guidelines that follow the strict company's guidelines and a library of simplified, abstract visual assets for common UI elements (e.g., settings icons, menu buttons) that represent core product functionalities in a timeless way, ensuring longevity and relevance across future UI changes.
• Collaborative Design & Iteration: Work with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts from concept to completion, translating their needs into compelling visual narratives.
• Brand & Accessibility Adherence: Ensure all designs maintain consistent brand identity while strictly adhering to accessibility guidelines (WCAG) to ensure our learning experiences are inclusive for all users.
• Visual Storyboarding & Prototyping: Develop detailed video storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather early feedback.
• Digital Asset Management: Maintain an organized and easily searchable library of digital assets, including AI-generated content, for efficient reuse and version control.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a significant portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing for learning or educational contexts.
• Advanced proficiency with industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
• Demonstrable experience and a strong interest in leveraging AI tools for design, with examples or clear ideas for their application in learning materials.
• Solid understanding of visual communication principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design choices to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Willing to work night shift
• Willing to work onsite full RTO (location: Taguig)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate).
• Knowledge of front-end web development basics (HTML/CSS) for responsive learning experiences.
• Familiarity with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles
• Prior experience in a Tech company or a corporate learning & development department.
• Familiarity with UX research methods for optimizing learning interfaces.
