Job summary

JPMorganChase in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Fund Accounting Financial Reporting Oversight professional to oversee external fund administration providers and ensure strong controls, accurate reporting, and timely regulatory submissions.

You will collaborate with partners across investment, risk, legal, and compliance to identify improvements and streamline oversight workflows. The role requires 7+ years in fund services, US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in fund services, including exposure to financial reporting, fund accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS; knowledge of U.S. Regulation S-X and the Investment Company Act is a plus.
• Experience coordinating U.S. registered fund regulatory filings (e.g., Form N-PORT, Form N-CEN, Form N-CSR).
• Ability to oversee third-party service providers and manage to quality, controls and delivery expectations.
• Strong understanding of core fund concepts (NAV, custody, valuation, transaction costs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and automation/analytics tools to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery and performance of external fund administration providers across assigned funds.
• Manage financial reporting cycles, including disclosure execution, controls evidence, and certification support activities.
• Coordinate audit planning and fieldwork with service providers and independent auditors to support timely completion.
• Review fund financial statements and schedules for completeness and consistency with guidance.
• Coordinate preparation and review of regulatory filings (N-PORT, N-CEN, N-CSR, N-PORT Part F, Rule 17f-2).
• Prepare governance and oversight materials for review by fund governing forums.
• Partner with stakeholders across portfolio management, risk, legal, compliance, product, and client service teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor fund risks and controls; document findings and escalate when needed.
• Maintain daily engagement with U.S.-based counterparts and service providers for clear communication and timely delivery.
• Identify and support process improvements and automation opportunities in oversight and reporting workflows.
