Job summary

Recruitify_HR is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable/General Accounting assistant in Makati, Philippines. You will encode invoices, match with purchase orders, and prepare AP schedules per vessel, while assisting in bank documents and monthly closings.

You will also support tax filings, audit requests, and cross-functional accounting tasks. Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided and growth is structured through the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Basic accounting knowledge (debit/credit, AP/AR) required.
• Team collaboration and team spirit.
• Excellent English communication (oral & written).
• Exposure to Ship Management is a plus.
• Knowledge of reconciliations and financial statement prep.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Willingness to learn ship management and operations.
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Support and vessel accounting, encode supplier invoices (local/foreign).
• Match invoices with purchase requests, delivery receipts, and approved contracts.
• Prepare AP schedules per vessel/principal; assist in payment vouchers and bank documents.
• Provide general accounting and books support for PBMI and Neofit Kantina (XX%).
• Assist in expense analysis by vessel; cost center coding; maintain schedules for prepaid and accrued expenses.
• Support tax and compliance tasks: VAT/EWT schedules, BIR filings, auditor requests; maintain audit trails.
• Provide administrative & team support; assist in audit preparations and coordinate with operations/admin teams.
