Job summary

AMCS in Cebu, Philippines, is seeking a Vehicle Technology Quality and Continuous Improvement Specialist. The role focuses on assessing hardware quality during installation and service, auditing processes, and driving improvements across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on hardware/electronics experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver technical training and clear audit records. Travel for audits and assessments is required.

Qualifications

• Strong practical background in hardware, electronics, vehicle technology or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrable experience of technical installation, service, support or quality activities.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding capability.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to objectively assess work against defined standards.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to deliver technical training and provide constructive audit feedback.
• Ability to produce clear audit records, findings and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Use practical hardware knowledge to assess the quality and consistency of installation and service activities.
• Review technical processes and identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce repeat issues.
• Work closely with Hardware, Service, Installation, Quality and other relevant teams to resolve identified issues.
• Promote consistent standards and good working practices across internal and external resources.
• Support the development and improvement of procedures, checklists and training documentation.
• Willingness to travel as required to perform audits and competency assessments.
• Previous experience conducting technical, quality or compliance audits.
• Experience delivering technical training or competency assessments.
