Job summary

AMCS Cebu, Philippines seeks a Vehicle Technology Hardware and Software Support Engineer to provide remote technical and administrative support for hardware solutions across the customer base. You will work closely with Hardware Support, Customer Support and field-service teams to investigate, coordinate, and administer on-site hardware visits.

The role emphasizes remote troubleshooting, PO coordination, and clear documentation, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to impact sustainability

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple open hardware support cases.
• Experience with ticketing or case-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote hardware support by reviewing and progressing cases.
• Gather diagnostic information from customers and internal teams.
• Carry out first-line remote troubleshooting using system data and logs.
• Escalate complex cases to Hardware Support Engineers or field resources.
• Coordinate Purchase Order (PO) requests ahead of hardware visits.
• Maintain accurate case notes and links between cases, POs and visits.
• Communicate status updates to customers and internal teams.
