Job summary

YTO EXPRESS is seeking a capable Dispatch Supervisor in Pasay to oversee daily van dispatch operations, plan routes, assign drivers and vehicles, and ensure timely deliveries. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments and maintaining strict schedule adherence.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–3 years of dispatch or fleet operations experience, with strong Excel skills and a proven ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in dispatch, fleet operations, transportation, logistics, or related operations.
• Knowledge of route planning, vehicle dispatching, fleet utilization, and transportation operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for monitoring schedules and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily van dispatch operations, including trip planning, vehicle assignment, and driver deployment.
• Prepare and manage daily dispatch schedules based on shipment volume, operational requirements, destinations, and delivery timelines.
• Assign available vans and drivers to appropriate routes and trips while maximizing vehicle utilization.
• Coordinate with Operations, branches, hubs, and other concerned departments regarding dispatch requirements and schedule changes.
• Monitor the actual departure and arrival of vans to ensure compliance with approved dispatch schedules.
• Track ongoing trips and coordinate delays, breakdowns, route issues, and other operational concerns.
• Monitor driver attendance, availability, assignments, and compliance with dispatch schedules.
• Conduct dispatch briefings and provide drivers with route instructions and schedules.
• Monitor vehicle utilization and identify opportunities to improve route planning, turnaround time, and fleet efficiency.
• Prepare dispatch performance reports and submit them to management.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• 2–3 years of experience in dispatch, fleet operations, transportation, logistics, or related operations

• Knowledge of route planning, vehicle dispatching, fleet utilization, and transportation operations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for monitoring schedules and preparing reports

• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and leadership skills

• Able to make quick decisions and handle operational issues in a fast‑paced environment

• Detail-oriented and capable of monitoring multiple vehicles, drivers, and trips simultaneously

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, or extended hours when required by operations
