Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Valuations Manager to lead high-impact valuation engagements with a focus on risk management, accuracy, and client service.

You will mentor staff, supervise projects, and oversee budgeting, billing, and collections to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

You will deliver advanced valuation analyses (DCF, comps, and scenario analyses) and communicate complex findings clearly to clients and leadership.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in business valuation with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Proven experience managing valuation projects related to transactions, financial reporting, ESOPs, or estate & gift planning.
• Deep technical expertise in valuation modeling including DCF, comps, intangible assets, and option pricing.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately manage risk and ensure quality control procedures are being executed.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including DCF analysis and comparative market analysis.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking with potential clients and preparing proposals.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge effectively through written and verbal communication.
• Provide strategic insights by evaluating financial risks and opportunities for assets, businesses, or investments.
• Manage valuation engagements, serving as the primary client contact and ensuring project delivery.
• Mentor and train new staff in valuation competencies.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, and collections to ensure profitability and efficiency.
• Recognize needs and issues pertinent to client activity and own engagement tasks daily.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all technical aspects and related systems and procedures.
• Oversee development and execution of complex valuation models (DCF, market comps, scenario analysis).
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of valuation reports and presentations with industry standards.
• Proficient in advanced Excel modeling and common finance-related software.
