Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Therapy Manager to efficiently manage the therapy area by engaging doctors, communicating product science, and driving awareness and demand.

You will lead clinical information delivery, plan field visits, and support campaigns and CMEs to meet patient care goals. The role requires 2–7 years of sales experience in vaccines or related therapeutic segments, with ability to articulate data-driven insights to stakeholders and build customer trust.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sciences / B Pharm (Pediatric Vaccine experience preferred).
• 2 to 7 years of relevant sales experience.
• Proven ability to articulate data-driven findings and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Relevant experience in therapeutic segment, vaccine knowledge and selling in corporate hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Imbibe product features and communicate scientific information to doctors.
• Utilize CSSP selling techniques and maintain high customer confidence.
• Maintain approved protocols and promotional materials for detailing.
• Contact customers regularly and deliver informative sales presentations.
• Explore opportunities to develop new business in the assigned therapy area.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic promotion and scientific initiatives.
• Update disease and product knowledge for productive discussions with stakeholders.
• Coordinate product campaigns and field activities in line with company plans.
• Plan territory visits and report data in the management system.
• Gather feedback and respond to customer service requirements.
• Collaborate with team to arrange speakers, displays and CMEs.
