Job summary

Kumu is seeking a proactive User Operations teammate in the Philippines to engage with the community and understand user needs. You’ll establish relationships, gather insights, and identify opportunities to grow retention and monetization from frontline interactions.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, empathetic, and adept at clear communication, with comfort in fast-paced settings and weekends/shifts. You’ll report to the Makati office quarterly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

We’re looking for highly driven, people-oriented individuals to join our User Operations team. This role is at the frontlines of our community—working directly with users to understand behavior, build relationships, and identify opportunities to drive growth.

What you’ll do:

• Engage with users daily through in app hangouts, chats, or calls
• Conduct surveys and gather insights to understand user needs and behavior
• Build genuine relationships across a diverse user base
• Spot opportunities for growth, retention, and monetization
• Act as the voice of the user by sharing actionable insights with internal teams

• Strong self-motivation and ownership mindset
• High level of empathy and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds
• Clear and logical communication skills (spoken and written, any language)
• Observant and proactive—able to identify patterns and opportunities on the ground
• Willingness to hustle and adapt in a fast-paced environment
