As a US Senior Bookkeeper, you are a critical guardian of financial integrity for our North American partners. Master of Financial Accuracy: Take full ownership of client portfolios, ensuring all bookkeeping is current and meets the highest standards of accuracy. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable with a "zero-error" mindset.
Architect of Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly Financial Statements and reports. Provide the necessary clarity for high-level decision-making, ensuring that the financial health of each business is transparent and audit-ready.
Month-End & Year-End Specialization: Lead the support for complex month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain pristine reconciliations and assist with tax return preparation to ensure a seamless transition between fiscal periods for global clients.
Operational Efficiency Leadership: Move beyond basic compliance by suggesting innovative ways to improve efficiency and optimize spending. Leverage your advanced knowledge of financial accounting statements to act as a proactive problem‑solver within the firm.
The Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years of dedicated bookkeeping experience specifically within a US accounting firm or SME environment. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, along with expert-level knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. You bring a deep familiarity with financial accounting statements and US‑specific reporting standards.
