TOA Global in the Philippines is hiring a US Junior Accountant to grow into end-to-end accounting and tax compliance for North American clients. This role is onsite at our facilities to ensure data security and consistent processes.
You will handle federal and state tax returns, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements under US GAAP, with mentorship from senior accountants. 1-2 years of US accounting experience required and proficiency in QuickBooks.
Location: Clark, Cebu, Manila, or Tarlac, Philippines
Shift: Monday - Friday | 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT
Salary Range: Php 56,000 - Php 74,000

As a US Junior Accountant, you are stepping into a role designed for growth and technical mastery. Prepare U.S. federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations (1040, 1120, 1065, 1041). Under the mentorship of senior accountants, navigate the complexities of the US tax code, including potential exposure to multi-state filings and estate & trust matters.
Take full ownership of the General Ledger, from day-to-day transaction recording to complex journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensure that every bank, credit card, and loan account aligns perfectly with the client's financial records.
Draft high-quality financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP. Collect and analyze account information to prepare the workpapers that form the foundation of strategic business summaries and tax filings.
Act as a vital link to the U.S. accounting team, resolving data discrepancies and ensuring all deliverables are met on time. Assist with payroll and sales tax compliance, maintaining the well-documented support files required for regulatory standards.
1-2 years of dedicated US accounting experience is required.
Highly skilled in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. You possess a solid understanding of US GAAP and have the analytical mindset to identify trends and summarize complex account information effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to communication. You are a process-oriented professional who can manage multiple client priorities independently while thriving in a collaborative, global environment.
