Salary Range: Php 37,000 - Php 55,000

As a US Staff Accountant, you will support the end-to-end accounting and tax compliance functions for a diverse portfolio of U.S. clients. This role is ideal for an ambitious accounting professional looking to expand their expertise in U.S. GAAP, cloud accounting systems, and federal/state tax preparation under the guidance of senior leadership. Working closely with North American teams, you will maintain high-integrity general ledgers, perform detailed reconciliations, and ensure accurate, timely tax lodgments.
Prepare U.S. federal and state individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns under the supervision of senior accountants.
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, process journal entries, and perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows to ensure timely postings and accurate vendor/customer ledgers.
Collect, analyze, and summarize account information to prepare clear financial statements, trend reports, and fully supported workpapers.
Communicate regularly with U.S.-based accounting teams to resolve ledger queries, clarify client data, and meet firm deliverables.
Maintain strict compliance with firm and IRS regulatory standards, keeping documentation well-organized and audit-ready.
0 to 1 year of experience in a U.S. accounting firm (relevant internship experience is acceptable and welcomed).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related financial field.
Exposure to federal/state tax returns and basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IRS compliance. Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop / QuickBooks Online and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to U.S. accounting standards.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, vital for smooth daily collaboration with North American team members.
