We are seeking an organized and detail-driven US Junior Bookkeeper to join our growing international division. This role is tailored for an entry-level professional ready to step into a fast-paced global team environment. Taking ownership of day-to-day transaction processing, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing, you will ensure our clients' accounts are pristine, compliant, and optimized for strategic management decisions.
Maintain accurate and timely bookkeeping for multiple client entities. Using QuickBooks Online and Desktop, you will record and reconcile bank, credit card, and loan transactions, ensuring that every dollar is accounted for.
Take ownership of the payroll lifecycle for diverse clients. From employee setup and active pay runs to posting post-payroll journal entries, you will ensure that the most sensitive part of a business-its people-is handled with care and precision.
Prepare and review foundational financial reports, including P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and General Ledgers. You will post journal entries that align financial statements with client records, providing the transparency needed for business success.
Maintain organized digital work papers and documentation for all assigned clients. You will communicate proactively with your team to clarify entries and discrepancies, ensuring that client-specific workflows are followed to the letter.
1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll is preferred, but we are open to high-potential candidates ready to learn. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a significant advantage.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or a strong aptitude to learn modern accounting software quickly). You possess the digital literacy required to manage cloud-based workflows and an understanding of general accounting principles and payroll processes.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. You are an independent worker who can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, essential for collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.
