Job summary

MYCPE ONE is seeking a highly experienced US Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage end-to-end bookkeeping for US-based clients from the Philippines. You will apply US GAAP, handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and monthly close, while communicating with clients via email and virtual meetings.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 2–4+ years supporting US clients, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Excel, and related tools. Excellent English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2-4+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years supporting US clients.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping for US clients.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Maintain General Ledger integrity.
• Process payroll and payroll reconciliations (if applicable).
• Handle US Sales Tax tracking and reporting.
• Support 1099 preparation and vendor reconciliation.
• Coordinate with US CPAs for tax preparation support.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles.
• Review work of junior bookkeepers (if applicable).
• Communicate directly with US clients via email and virtual meetings.
