Job summary

BACK ROOM OFFSHORING INC. seeks an accountable and detail-oriented Accountant to support US-based clients. You will handle end-to-end bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting tasks in a fast-paced offshore environment.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of US bookkeeping/accounting or 3-5+ years local accounting experience, strong QuickBooks Online skills, and proficiency with Bill.com and MS Office. This role offers onsite/hybrid work in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• End-to-end accounting experience including financial statements, A/P, payroll, and accruals.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts.
• 2+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and related software.
• 1+ years Bill.com experience or similar bill-pay tools.
• Clear, effective English communication (oral and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Follow company processes and protocols daily.
• Track deadlines in Asana and respond within 24 hours.
• Send daily plans and end-of-day summaries.
• Track time in QuickBooks Time and perform bookkeeping tasks.
• Provide accounting support to Senior Accountants and Team Leader.
