Job summary

Growve Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in the Philippines.

You will maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, support month-end close activities, and ensure data integrity across the GL and reporting processes. Responsibilities include posting transactions, preparing journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, budgeting support, variance analysis, and assisting audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA designation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of US accounting or related experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience working with SharePoint and workflow management tools such as ClickUp is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Willing to work on a night shift schedule.
  • Willing to work in a permanent hybrid setup.
  • Willing to work on a 3-months contract (with potential for absorption based on performance.)

Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions accurately and timely in accordance with established procedures and policies.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Perform daily bank transaction posting and reconciliation using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and SharePoint.
  • Perform credit card transaction posting and reconciliation on a regular basis (approximately three times per week) using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and SharePoint.
  • Conduct monthly intercompany reconciliations and adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support and execute month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support business decisionmaking.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.
  • Perform other accounting-related duties and special projects as assigned.
