About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of general accounting experience. This includes recording of transactions in accordance with GAAP, reconciliation and financial analysis. Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), and the ability to analyze financial data with accuracy and efficiency. Experience working as an accountant or auditor in a public accounting firm is preferred. Knowledge of QuickBooks Online accounting software is preferred but not required. Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, loan accounts, vendor Statement of accounts with financial records.

• Perform Balance Sheet review and Profit and Loss analysis.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing review to ensure financial reports are accurate.

• Utilize Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) to analyze and interpret data.

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Update written procedures and accounting manual to ensure the accounting workflow and procedures are accurate and up to date.

• Collaborate with team members on process improvements and ad hoc projects.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
