JOB DESCRIPTION:
Act as the Construction Project Architect or Project Engineer for a specific project.
Inspect works of the contractors and sub-contractor and prepare monitoring of all the works (Civil, Architectural, Structural and MEPFS)
Review for Construction Plans
Evaluate billing of contractors
Coordinate with all contractors and make sure the quality of their work
Can work as a team and/or independently
Can multi-task and work under pressure
Project Management through maintaining operations by enforcing project and operational policies and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Possible to be assigned in a high rise or mid-rise project (inside/outside of Metro Manila).
Must be already capable and qualified, or has the potential and willingness, to work in a supervisorial capacity at assigned actual project site
Must be able to assist and interacting with all project stakeholders (contractors, workers, regulatory bodies and inspectors, owners, consultants etc.)
Ability to read and interpret contract documents and construction plans and specifications.
Ability to effectively manage project team members. Must be very organized and have effective problem solving, leadership and negotiation skills.
Supervise construction and provide quality assurance that completed work is in compliance with the plans and specifications.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to the project.
Act as point of contact and coordinate directly with general contractor and negotiate change orders.
Oversee field site activities and provide technical advice on construction and design.
Discuss deviations from specified construction materials and procedures with Engineer-In-Charge.
Regularly review and approve contract submittals and payment applications to contractors.
Participate in contract close-out activities.
Conduct regular progress meetings with the contractor and appropriate personnel and report on any issues, as necessary.
The job entails the performance of civil engineering and site operations management functions for the planning and actual construction and site development of low-, mid-, and high-end residential subdivisions, as well as commercial buildings;
Depending on the exact role and project assigned, the job may require construction quantitative accomplishment appraising, quality control and audit, working plan analysis and review, workflow and equipment utilization planning, S-curve interpretation, and/or selected property management functions
