Job summary

SAN YANG INTERTRADE CORP is seeking a Project Manager (Architect/Engineer) to lead construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring quality, compliance with contracts, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Civil Engineer or Architect with at least 2 years of related experience in commercial/industrial settings, strong leadership, and proficient in English and Filipino, with solid computer skills (Google Drive, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and quality control across projects.

• Review contractor billings and time extensions for accuracy.

Job description

The Project Manager (Architect/Engineer) shall ensure the quality, integrity and timely completion of all projects assigned within the bound of agreed contracts, plans, details and specifications conforming to the underlying industry practices, standards and approved theories in construction as permitted by the Management.

• Take leadership on quality assurance and quality control of projects, project management, evaluation and monitoring for the entire project cycle.

• Daily supervision, monitoring, inspection, evaluation and implementation of necessary programs of actions in ensuring compliance to the stipulated articles of contracts for projects awarded to each contractor.

• Ensure timely delivery of project completion target, including processing and coordination with concerned departments for variation orders, secure approval for change orders, and project implementation.

• Daily updating and monitoring of accomplishment reports including all other documentary requirements for each contract for submission on weekly basis or as required by Business Development Head and all other departments of the company.

• Evaluation, checking for completeness and accuracy of contractor's billings, request for time extensions, materials specifications and alternatives.

• Coordination and metering with contractors, suppliers and other parties involved in construction operations in promoting and establishing common understanding in the execution of each project.

• Coordination and collaboration with Purchasing Department, Operations Department, Logistics, Consultants and Admin Department for statues of ach project construction accomplishments.

• Administration, monitoring, and distribution of issued Owner-Supplied materials for each contractor part of approved contract awarded to them including coordination with concerned suppliers and departments.

• Provide assistance during inspection by LGU's and other agencies or departments with official business transaction with the company and assigned project.

• Perform other tasks or special projects related to assigned role and position within the department.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Must be a licensed Civil Engineer or Architect and/or graduate of Engineering or Architecture or its equivalent.

• Preferably with at least 2 year of work experiences related to commercial, warehouse, industrial establishment engineering construction from property developer, real estate or contractor.

• With strong leadership and Management skills.

• Must be focused, driven, team player.

• Can work under pressure.

• With acceptable oral and written communication, proficient in Google Drive, MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint)

• Fluent in English & Filipino (Spoke and Written)
