Job summary

Palawan Group of Companies is seeking a Unified Communications Specialist to support daily operation of enterprise communication systems, ensuring services remain available and properly configured. You will monitor voice, conferencing, and collaboration platforms, perform routine maintenance, handle incidents, and assist in change management to keep communications running smoothly.

Responsibilities include incident handling, initial troubleshooting, escalation when needed, service restoration

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
1–3 years experience in communications, collaboration or voice systems support.
Experience supporting enterprise communications environments with SIP, voice, conferencing and collaboration platforms.
Familiarity with monitoring, troubleshooting, and user support activities.
Basic awareness of network dependencies affecting communications services.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain enterprise communication platforms, voice services, conferencing systems, and collaboration tools across supported environments.
Perform routine maintenance activities including configuration updates, service validation, and operational health checks.
Ensure communication services remain operational, available, and aligned with operational standards.
Support day-to-day administration of communication platforms and related services.
Investigate and respond to communication-related alerts, service interruptions, and operational incidents.
Perform initial troubleshooting and validation of communication platform issues.
Escalate unresolved communication-related concerns to senior communications personnel when necessary.
Support service restoration and recovery activities during communication outages and disruptions.
Support implementation of communication-related changes, deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Validate communication service functionality and operational readiness during implementation activities.
Assist in execution of rollback and recovery procedures during communication platform changes.
Ensure operational procedures and change management controls are followed during support activities.
Monitor communication platform health, service quality, and operational status using monitoring tools.
Maintain operational logs, support records, and communication platform documentation.
Prepare operational reports and status updates related to communication services and support activities.
Identify and report recurring operational issues, service degradation, and platform risks.
Ensure compliance with unified communications operational standards, security controls, and support procedures.
Maintain communication platform documentation, configuration records, operational procedures, and support references.
Support audit, compliance, and governance activities involving communication infrastructure and services.
Ensure communication operational activities and platform changes are properly documented and controlled.
