Job summary

OceanaGold’s Didipio mine on Luzon Island, Philippines, seeks a Suitably qualified Superintendent – Maintenance (Underground Maintenance) to lead underground maintenance of mobile and fixed plants and drive work management programs for maximum availability.

Reporting to the Manager - Asset Maintenance, the role emphasizes coaching, PM reviews in the Pronto CMMS, and developing maintenance programs and projects to ensure reliability and quality in operations.

Qualifications

• Heavy Equipment Mechanical or Auto Electrical Trade.
• Post trade studies in Engineering or Asset and Maintenance Management (preferred).
• 15 years mining experience.
• 5 years as a superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Manage underground mobile and fixed plant maintenance activities based on plans and priorities.
• Coach and develop supervisors and technicians to ensure high quality work.
• Review maintenance plans for resource allocation and timing.
• Verify PM Tasks/strategies in CMMS (Pronto) for accuracy and relevance.
• Ensure work is completed within the scheduled timeframe.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and incidents.
• Mentor maintenance personnel to promote best practices.
• Support apprentices and maintenance leadership development programs.

Education
