OceanaGold Corporation is seeking a Superintendent – Maintenance (Underground Maintenance) to lead underground equipment maintenance at the Didipio mine in the Philippines. The role focuses on managing maintenance programs, planning, and driving reliability while coordinating with a skilled team of technicians and contractors.

Responsibilities include implementing work management processes, ensuring parts and tooling readiness, and mentoring staff to uphold safety and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years as a superintendent in mining operations.
• Educational background in heavy equipment maintenance and asset management.
• Professional Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Manage underground mobile and fixed plant maintenance per plans and priorities.
• Coach Supervisors and technicians to ensure high quality work.
• Review maintenance plans for resource allocation and timing.
• Verify PM tasks in Pronto CMMS for accuracy.
• Ensure work completed within the scheduled timeframe.
• Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and incidents.
• Mentor maintenance personnel and support development programs.
• Support apprentices and maintenance leadership development.
