We are looking for a driven Underbar Associate (law graduate who has not yet been admitted to the Philippine Bar) to support our attorneys and gain broad, hands-on experience in a growing practice.
You will work under the close supervision of licensed lawyers on research, drafting, and case support across civil, criminal, corporate, real estate, family, and emerging technology matters. This is an excellent opportunity to build practical skills, receive mentorship, and prepare for Bar admission while contributing to client work.
Conduct legal research on statutes, jurisprudence, rules, and doctrines; prepare memoranda, case digests, and research summaries.
Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, contracts, affidavits, legal opinions, demand letters, and other documents (subject to attorney review).
Support case management: organize files, track deadlines, prepare correspondence, and assist with court or agency filings as permitted.
Liaise with government offices and agencies on filings, follow-ups, and administrative requirements.
Appear before administrative bodies and quasi-judicial agencies as permitted and under supervision.
Meet with clients to gather information, provide updates, and assist in consultations (under attorney supervision).
Help with client intake support, document review, and coordination of appointments or hearings.
Perform other assigned legal support tasks across the firm’s practice areas.
Graduate of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized law school.
Strong academic record preferred.
Excellent legal research and writing skills; proficiency in English and Filipino.
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and capacity to work under deadlines.
High ethical standards and professionalism.
Prior internship, clerkship, or legal aid experience is an advantage.
Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace and legal research tools.
Willingness to work in our Ermita, Manila office (hybrid arrangements may be considered based on operational needs).
