Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management seeks a skilled Bookkeeper to handle daily UK and European bookkeeping from Paranaque, onsite. You will manage AP/AR, reconcile banks, and maintain the general ledger in a mid-shift schedule aligned with UK timing.

Responsibilities include invoicing, VAT compliance, and monthly management accounts. Strong Excel and familiarity with Xero/QuickBooks/Sage are preferred; AAT or equivalent qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, especially for UK/European clients.
• Solid knowledge of UK VAT and statutory requirements; European exposure is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for UK and European entities, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and GL maintenance.
• Process and code invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and promptly.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile multi-currency transactions and bank accounts.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, VAT, and statutory filings.
