Job summary

Metacom Careers in the Philippines seeks a travel customer service representative to assist travelers with bookings, inquiries and issue resolution using GDS systems.

You will communicate options and costs clearly, update records of bookings and interactions, and stay current with travel regulations and industry trends to provide knowledgeable advice.

Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are often required to meet client needs and service standards.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; further education in travel or tourism is a plus.
• Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in a customer service and at least 1 year of GDS experience.
• Skills and Competencies: Familiarity with GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is highly desirable.
• Qualities and Traits: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Working Conditions: May require working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
