Job summary

International Toyworld, Inc. is seeking a Training Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Training Department, conduct training needs analyses, evaluate programs, and plan and execute training initiatives.

You will onboard new hires, develop induction materials, coordinate with external providers, manage logistics, and prepare post-training reports to inform management decisions. This role requires strong communication, budgeting, and administration skills to ensure cost-effective

Job description

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Training Department; perform training needs analysis (TNA), evaluate training programs, plan and execute training programs. Provide assessment after each training program implemented.

Specific Duties:

1. 1. Responsible for the on-boarding of all newly hired employees (all levels); ensure that they are fully oriented on Company's Mission, Vision, Values and Objectives; Company polices; and Code of Conduct before they are deployed in their respective work units.
2. 2. Update and propose revisions on Company's On-boarding Program whenever necessary.
3. 3. Perform training needs analysis (TNA) a month before the start of the Business Planning and prepare the corresponding budget per training program.
4. 4. Prepare the Job Induction Program/Training Guide of newly hired/promoted Supervisors, Officers and Managers and ensure the attendance of Trainers/ Resource Persons on the scheduled dates/time.
5. 5. Ensure that the Training Assistants properly facilitate the Immersion Program to all newly hired store rank and file employees.
6. 6. Prepare modules for new training programs and present to Management before the scheduled run.
7. 7. Prepare all the necessary logistics whenever there is a scheduled training or seminar and immediately prepare liquidation of expenses.
8. 8. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and prepare the corresponding report after each training program.
9. 9. Coordinate with External Training Providers and HR Affiliates to keep abreast of training programs for future reference.
10. 10. Recommend efficient work methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that will ensure attainment of desired results at the least operating cost.
11. 11. Facilitate the immersion and Development Programs of all employees recommended for promotion; monitor progress of those undergoing the Development Programs.
12. 11. Set performance standards and expected output of subordinates including deadlines.
13. 13. Perform other duties that may be assigned.
