The Trade Execution Manager is responsible for leading field execution strategies to ensure excellent in-store visibility, merchandising standards, and trade program implementation across assigned territories. This role oversees merchandiser operations, monitors trade execution performance, and collaborates closely with Sales and Marketing teams to drive availability, visibility, and execution excellence in the market.
Job Description
Lead, manage, and develop the merchandiser team to ensure consistent and effective field execution.
Monitor daily merchandising activities to ensure compliance with company standards, planograms, and display guidelines.
Drive execution of trade marketing programs, promotional activities, and in-store campaigns across all assigned channels.
Conduct regular field visits and store audits to assess execution quality, product availability, and visibility.
Ensure proper implementation of merchandising materials, displays, and point-of-sale assets.
Identify execution gaps and develop action plans to improve in-store performance and operational efficiency.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Distributor partners to align execution priorities.
Track and analyze key trade execution metrics such as on-shelf availability, display compliance, and promo implementation.
Prepare and present regular performance reports, field insights, and recommendations to management.
Manage merchandiser deployment, scheduling, attendance, and performance evaluation.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
At least 4–6 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales, trade marketing, or field execution, with 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
Proven experience in managing merchandisers and overseeing field operations.
Strong understanding of trade execution, merchandising standards, and retail operations.
Experience working with distributors and handling modern trade and/or general trade channels is an advantage.
Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willing to do fieldwork and travel as needed.
