Job summary

GainStrong in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking a Trade Marketing professional to develop channel strategies, plan promotions, coordinate media placements, and ensure execution across designated accounts.

You will analyze competitor activity, manage trade marketing investments, monitor store standards, and collaborate with Sales to meet deadlines and launch goals. A marketing background with FMCG experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing required.
• 2+ years experience in FMCG trade marketing or similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Establish channel strategies aligned with company directions.
• Prepare trade promotional plans for designated channels and key customers.
• Coordinate media placements, PR programs, events, and community activities.
• Monitor competitor promotions and analyze activity.
• Manage Trade Marketing Investments (merchandising, DA, Gondola) and execute plans.

• Track launches, distribution, planograms, and in-store displays.
• Create competitive activity feedback reports for analysis and reporting.

Job description

Duties and Task:

• Establish channel strategies along with companys directions.
• Prepare trade promotional plan in designated channels with critical customers.
• Coordinate media placements, public relation programs, host events, and participate in all community events.
• Check and analyze competitor activities or promotion.
• Head responsibility to manage and monitor Trade Marketing Investments (merchandising collaterals, DA, Gondola) as well as initiate execution.
• Interact with Sales regarding deadlines / lead time required for promotions, pack / price changes, new products, etc in order to ensure effective implementation.
• Spearhead program and activity implementation aligned with sales direction.
• To ascertain new product launches, distribution tracking, secondary displays, planograms and etc.
• Design and monitor a competitive activity feedback report to track frequency and types of promotions taking place in his/her area, documenting such activities for analysis, reporting and future referencing purposes.
• Keep track, analyses and evaluate accounts' profitability. Identify customers who do not meet the company's guidelines and recommend action to improve level of requirement.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions and in-store promotions to determine whether these meet the Company' objectives.
• Design and implement price surveys on selected brands to track and graph trends over periods of time, for purposes of recommending for pricing strategies based on information received.
• Consolidate internal price control program for all products, implementing and administering pricing alignment.
• Ensure all accounts to comply with the merchandising standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree preferably Marketing
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably with category experience in FMCG Market
