You will manage insurance authorizations, including TMS-specific cases, work with portals, schedule appointments, and support copays and prescriptions in a fast-paced psychiatric practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of medical experience, preferably in psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health.
• Experience with TMS therapy and TMS authorizations.
• Strong experience with insurance authorizations and verification via payer portals.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls professionally.
• Experience scheduling new patient evaluations, follow-up appointments, and patient recall.
• Experience collecting copays and processing patient payments.
• Experience processing prescription refill requests.
• Proficient with eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Proficient with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Call patients to gather demographics, medical history, insurance details, and intake data.
• Prepare and organize patient charts before evaluations.
• Manage insurance authorizations and verification in portals and payer platforms.
• Handle TMS-specific authorizations per payer requirements.
• Schedule evaluations and recalls; manage 150–250 daily calls.
• Collect copays and process patient payments; process prescription refills.
