Job summary

OCS Philippines is seeking a Thermographic Scanner Senior Technician to join our team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This full-time role focuses on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of thermographic scanning equipment, with a chance to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior technicians.

You will perform inspections, calibrations, data analysis, and detailed reporting while ensuring safety and client specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional thermographic experience.
• Expertise in operating thermographic cameras and interpreting thermal imaging data.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and building infrastructure relevant to thermal imaging applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions independently.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce detailed technical reports and communicate findings clearly to clients and colleagues.
• Certification in thermography or thermal imaging (such as ITC Level 1 or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in calibration procedures and quality assurance protocols for thermographic equipment.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide junior technical staff.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and preventative care on thermographic equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Analyse thermal imaging data and generate comprehensive reports documenting findings, anomalies, and recommendations for clients.
• Conduct training and provide technical guidance to junior technicians on proper thermographic scanning procedures and equipment handling.
