Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a multiskilled maintenance role.
• Graduate of a Vocational/Technical course in HVAC-R, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field.
• NC II or relevant technical certification is an advantage.
• Experience in elevator maintenance or troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and elevator systems.
• Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of elevators and related equipment, coordinating with elevator contractors for major repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and system improvements.
• Ensure proper operation, efficiency, and safety of all equipment and facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections and report issues or potential risks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts, equipment, and repair history.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and the management team as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance as required.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technician to join BENSON INDUSTRIAL COLD STORAGE INC. in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and overseeing the technical operations of our industrial cold storage facilities. As Lead Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of refrigeration systems, equipment maintenance, and facility operations whilst leading a team of technicians. This position is integral to our commitment to providing reliable, safe, and efficient cold storage solutions to our clients across the real estate and property administration sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and elevator systems.
• Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of elevators and related equipment, and coordinate with accredited elevator contractors for major repairs when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a multiskilled maintenance role, preferably with experience in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, and Elevator Maintenance.
• Graduate of any Vocational/Technical course such as HVAC-R, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or any related field.
• With NC II or relevant technical certification is an advantage.
• Experience in elevator maintenance or troubleshooting is an advantage.
