Job summary

Teradyne Philippines, Ltd. - Cebu is seeking a Board Repair Specialist to perform debugging and quality repair of defective electronic boards.

The role requires hands-on repair work and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Test Engineers on process requirements, quality improvements, and reliability issues, with a focus on meeting repair goals and maintaining high yield.

Qualifications

• Electronics/industrial electronics graduate with board repair experience.
• Skilled in board troubleshooting, desoldering/soldering and repair.
• Experience in hardware/software validation for testers is a plus.
• Goal-oriented, proactive and hardworking with attention to detail.
• Proficient with computers and basic software tools.

The Board Repair Specialist is responsible in the debug and quality repair of defective boards.

He/She is likewise expected to do first level system maintenance. Other responsibilities also include working with the Test Engineer in process requirements, quality improvements, reliability issues, as well as meeting repair goals.

All About You

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-endtesters is an advantage.
• Goal and results-oriented, proactive, and hardworking
• Computer literate
