Job summary

Teradyne in the Philippines is seeking a Board Repair Specialist to diagnose and repair defective boards and perform first level system maintenance. You will work with the Test Engineer on process requirements, quality improvements, and reliability issues to meet repair goals.

Ideal candidates have Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics degrees with board repair experience, are skilled in board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and have exposure to hardware/software validation.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with board repair experience.
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair.
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for testers is an advantage.

Opportunity Overview

The Board Repair Specialist is responsible in the debug and quality repair of defective boards. He/She is likewise expected to do first level system maintenance. Other responsibilities also include working with the Test Engineer in process requirements, quality improvements, reliability issues, as well as meeting repair goals.

All About You

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage.
• Goal and results-oriented, proactive, and hardworking
• Computer literate
