Job summary

Teradyne Philippines, Ltd. – Cebu is seeking Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates to join as PCB Assembly/Repair Technicians.

You will perform board repair, troubleshoot, and verify hardware for Teradyne testers, ensuring compliance with procedures and quality standards. The role involves detailed testing of PCBAs, de/soldering, visual inspection, packing and shipping boards, and collaboration with Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors to meet department goals.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage
• Goal and results-oriented, flexible, and hardworking
• Computer literate

Responsibilities

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
